Orsolya Kaincz is a Budapest-based sound artist, improviser, and cultural project manager whose work moves between experimental composition, electroacoustic sound art, and interdisciplinary research. A self-taught musician active on the Hungarian contemporary and free-improvisation scene for more than a decade, she sculpts slowly unfolding, transforming sound surfaces from electronics, field recordings, and objects, creating focused listening environments and contemplative atmospheres.
Beyond her solo and ensemble projects (including the acoustic–electronic trios Kamon Kardamom and FoCC), Kaincz curates and organizes new music events such as Transparent Sound New Music Festival, hosts the experimental radio show “Exit” on Lahmacun community radio, and leads EU-funded initiatives at Pro Progressione’s Sound Pillar. A SHAPE+ Platform artist and Culture Moves Europe resident, she brings a deep understanding of audiences, listening contexts, and sonic space—making her a powerful collaborator in reimagining museum soundscapes for Vox Museorum
